Citroën C3 Aircross Launched In India, Bookings Open

Prices for all the variants of the Citroën C3 Aircross are yet to be announced.

Citroën India has launched its latest compact SUV at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the company opened bookings for the new car at an initial token amount of Rs. 25,000, prices for all the variants are yet to be announced. The 5+2 Flexi Pro model costs an additional Rs. 35,000, while the dual tone version costs an additional Rs. 20,000 and the Vibe Pack a further Rs. 25,000. All these aforementioned add-ons are only available for the Plus and Max variants.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, 2023 Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, MG Astor, as well as the newly launched Honda Elevate.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross features a single 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 108 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque, coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Currently, the company is not offering an automatic gearbox, however, it is expected to be introduced in the coming months. The new Citroën C3 Aircross has either a 5-seater layout or a 5+2-seater version, with a boot space ranging from 444-litre to 839-litre with the second & third-row seats folded down. Regarding dimensions, the Citroën C3 Aircross is 4323 mm long, 1769 mm wide, 1665 mm tall and sits on a 2671 mm wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 200 mm. Moreover, Citroën is offering the C3 Aircross with 17-inch alloy wheels as well as 16-inch steel wheels.

Inside, the Citroën C3 Aircross features a 10.2-inch infotainment system, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with 32 connected car features, controlled via its app.
