Citroën C3 Hatchback Receives A Price Hike

Citroën India has increased the price of its smallest, entry-level hatchback, the Citroën C3 by up to Rs. 30,000 effective July 1, 2023. The company now retails the C3 hatchback for Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base Live variant and goes up to Rs. 8.92 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec Shine Turbo variant. The Citroën C3 is available in the country in two petrol engine options, but only with manual transmission options. The Citroën C3 rivals the Tata Punch, and will soon compete with the Hyundai Exter, starting July 10, 2023.

The Citroën C3 is offered in two powertrains: a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine that produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine that produces 110 bhp and 190 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Citroën C3 is a 5-seater hatchback with a length of 3,981 mm, width of 1,733 mm, and height of 1,586 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,540 mm. It features a raised ground clearance of 180 mm, which gives it an SUV-like stance. The C3 is also available with a wide range of customisation options, including exterior colours, interior trims, and alloy wheels. The C3 also has a large boot space of 315 litres.
