Citroen has teased the e-C3X in India. It could feature changes similar to the petrol-powered C3X.
Citroen has teased the e-C3X ahead of its official launch in India. Following the updates made to its internal combustion engine counterpart last year, the French automaker is now giving its all-electric hatchback a similar mid-cycle update.
The upcoming model will feature subtle cosmetic revisions and an enhanced equipment list, while adopting the ‘X’ suffix to align with the rest of the brand's updated portfolio.
On the outside, the styling updates are expected to mirror the revised C3 hatchback. Key updates will include the addition of projector LED headlamps, LED front fog lamps, and re-profiled front and rear bumpers.
The side profile will likely feature newly designed wheels, and the company is expected to offer a revised colour palette with both single-tone and dual-tone configurations. The overall dimensions of the electric vehicle will remain unchanged.

The cabin will receive the bulk of the functional updates, aimed at improving overall fit and finish. The e-C3X is expected to borrow the 7-inch digital instrument cluster from the updated C3X.
Higher-spec variants are likely to see a substantial boost in equipment, including a 360-degree camera system, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and six airbags as standard for enhanced safety. The quirky dashboard layout, distinct AC vents, and the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity will be carried forward.
Mechanically, the vehicle will remain identical to the pre-facelift model. It will continue to be powered by a 29.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor that generates 56 bhp and 143 Nm of torque. The powertrain allows for a top speed of 107 kmph and offers a claimed driving range of 246 km on a full charge.
The current e-C3 is priced between ₹11.99 lakh and ₹13.26 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated version could command a slight premium, but intense competition from rivals like the Tiago EV facelift could force Citroen to not hike prices.
