Benelli had earlier launched the new Leoncino Bobber 400 in China.
Benelli's brand new proposition, the Leoncino Bobber 400, finally landed in Europe with an official EICMA 2024 showcase. The new Leoncino 400 holds great significance to the badge and the brand. For starters, this is the first time that it represents neither a scrambler nor a roadster. The new Leoncino Bobber 400 is the first of its kind bobber, and it debuted earlier this year exclusively for the Chinese market. Characterised by the timeless design of a typical cruiser, with clever modern touches – the new Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 was bound for the European market and the West.
The Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 is powered by a 385 cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine producing 35.4 bhp and 36 Nm. This is also the brand's first engine with a 60-degree crank. It will be sold in Europe as an A2-licensed bike. Benelli claims that the Leoncino Bobber 400 can reach a top speed of 152 kmph. These are quite the laidback conservative numbers that are typical of a cruiser/ bobber.

Low and aggressive is how the new Leoncino Bobber 400 will instantly catch your attention. The muscular fuel tank measures 15 litres, and the seat height is quite accessible at 730 mm. With forward-set footpegs, the riding stance of the Leoncino Bobber 400 will be pretty laid-back, with a wide, flat handlebar for your arms to rest. Overall, a nice old-school vibe is noticeable here, which is classic yet has elements of modernity infused in between. In Europe, the bobber will be available in three colours - Desert Tan, Midnight Black, and Onix Grey.
The bike is built around a double-cradle architecture sprung by an USD fork at the front and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are carried out by disc brakes at both ends, with a four-piston axial caliper clasping the front and a single-floating caliper for the rear disc.
Besides that Harley-Davidson-styled all-LED headlight, the tail light is also an LED unit. The dashboard comprises a circular TFT display, with all the modern connectivity suite.
Benelli hasn't indicated any plans for the future. The brand's presence in the country is quite slim, so bringing another new model to this backdrop would not make much of a sound business decision.
