While it might seem like the CT150X, it is actually going to be Bajaj’s first CNG-powered motorcycle
Bajaj has been working on alternative fuel solutions for its motorcycles for a while and we have finally got the first signs of the same. Meet the Bruzer 125, the company’s rugged-looking CNG-powered bike.
Yes, we have received good information that this bike isn’t going to be the CT150X commuter but rather a 125 cc commuter motorcycle that will make use of a CNG tank to power the motor. This too will cater majorly to the semi-urban and rural markets, and offer a more cost effective solution to the buyers.
While we do know that CNG powered vehicles, like cars and wagons, provide less power than their ICE counterparts, the fuel efficiency on offer is just as good and the economic savings are far more. Hence, Bajaj has found the solution and will be releasing its Bruzer 125 in the market in the coming few months.
Expect the Bruzer to be competitively priced, somewhere around the Rs 80,000 - Rs 85,000 mark. This is going to be an interesting concept and something unique to ride but will it get adopted as Bajaj hopes? We shall find out the same in 2024.
