Foxconn reported revenue of $64.72 billion in Q4.
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., popularly known as Foxconn, the world's biggest contract manufacturer of Apple iPhones, has announced record-breaking fourth quarter (Q4) revenue that exceeded analyst expectations, primarily due to strong demand in its artificial intelligence (AI) server business, says a report by news agency Reuters.
The Taiwan-based company reported revenue of $64.72 billion (T$2.13 trillion) for the quarter, representing a 15.2 per cent increase and surpassing the LSEG SmartEstimate of T$2.1 trillion.
The company, which serves as Apple's primary iPhone assembler and counts major technology firms like Nvidia among its clients, saw particularly robust growth in its cloud and networking products division. December revenues reached T$654.8 billion, marking a 42.3 per cent year-over-year increase and achieving the second-highest monthly revenue in the company's history.
While Foxconn's smart consumer electronics segment, which includes iPhone assembly, remained relatively stable compared to the previous year, the company's performance was notably driven by increased demand for AI servers and related technologies.
“In the first quarter of 2025, overall operations have gradually entered the traditional off-season,” said Foxconn commenting on the outlook for the current quarter, cited the news agency," the company was quoted as saying.
