HMD Global on Wednesday officially launched two new feature phones in India -- the HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music. These 2G devices, which were first showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 last month, are targeted at music enthusiasts, as per the handset company.
The HMD 130 Music offers built-in UPI payment capabilities, while the 150 Music features scan and pay functionality, both allowing users to make and receive payments through a simplified interface.
The HMD 130 Music is priced at Rs 1,899, while the HMD 150 Music will retail at Rs 2,399. Both models will be available through leading retail stores across India, on HMD's official website, and various e-commerce platforms.
Both the feature phone models house a 2.4-inch QVGA display that offers clear visuals for navigating menus and managing music playlists. The phones come equipped with a powerful 2W speaker for enhanced audio output and include dedicated music control buttons for convenient playback management.
Users can connect wired headphones through the 3.5mm headphone jack and enjoy both wireless and wired FM radio, including FM recording capabilities.
Storage options include expandable memory via SD card up to 32GB, providing ample space for personal music collections. The devices support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, allowing users to pair their phones with external speakers and headsets.
A notable feature is the 2,500mAh removable battery, which according to HMD, delivers up to one month of standby time, making these phones ideal for users who prioritise battery longevity.
The HMD 150 Music sets itself apart with a more durable design and includes a QVGA camera for basic photography, along with an integrated flashlight.
Both phones run on the S30+ operating system (OS) and feature 8MB of internal storage. They support dual SIM functionality and come with USB Type-C ports.
