Jeep India has announced a price revision for its most affordable SUV, the Compass, as of June 2024. The updated pricing makes the Compass range more accessible, with the starting ex-showroom price now set at ₹18.99 lakh. This adjustment sees the entry-level Sport variant receiving a substantial price cut of ₹1.70 lakh from its previous price of ₹20.69 lakh.
Here are the new starting ex-showroom prices for each Compass variant:
Variants | New Starting ex-showroom price |
---|---|
Sport | ₹18.99 lakh |
Longitude | ₹22.33 lakh |
Night Eagle | ₹25.18 lakh |
Limited | ₹26.33 lakh |
Black Shark | ₹26.83 lakh |
Model S | ₹28.33 lakh |
The Jeep Compass is available in six variants: Sport, Longitude, Night Eagle, Limited, Black Shark, and Model S. While the Sport variant benefits from a major price reduction, all other variants have experienced a uniform price increase of ₹14,000.
Following the discontinuation of the petrol engine last year, the Jeep Compass is now exclusively powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic torque converter unit.
