Jio AirFiber Expands to Over 115 New Cities Across India

Reliance Jio has announced a major expansion of its Jio AirFiber fixed wireless access service, adding over 115 new cities to its network. Jio AirFiber was initially launched in 8 major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.

The full list of newly added cities spans key states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Major cities like Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata now have wireless access to Jio AirFiber's fiber-like broadband speeds.

Jio AirFiber leverages the company's extensive fiber backbone and optical technology to deliver connectivity within a range of 3-10km from the tower. Subscribers get access to 550+ TV channels along with 16+ OTT apps on a bundled 4K set-top box. Installation charges of Rs. 1000 can also be waived with annual plans.

Pricing starts at Rs. 599 monthly for 30Mbps speeds and unlimited data. Higher plans of Rs. 899 and Rs. 1199 are also available. In addition to fast internet, Jio AirFiber provides integrated smart home solutions for security, education, healthcare and more.
