Despite this price cut, the Kawasaki ZX-10R hasn't seen any omissions to its package.
Kawasaki has delivered a big year-ender present of 2024 by lowering the asking price of the Ninja ZX-10R. The current iteration was launched earlier this year at ₹17.13 lakh and went up to ₹18.50 lakh. However, the price has now dropped to ₹17.36 lakh – a significant slash of ₹1.14 lakh.
Despite this price drop, Kawasaki hasn't made any changes to the bike. It continues to be powered by the same potent 998 cc inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 200 bhp at 13,200 rpm and 114.9 Nm. The power can be further bumped up to 210 bhp when the RAM Air intake comes into play.
On the hardware front, the ZX-10R continues to be suspended by premium Showa suspension components, including BFF forks and a BFRC rear monoshock. The braking system features dual 330 mm front discs and a 220 mm rear disc. An Ohlins electronic steering damper adds an extra layer of precision to the motorcycle's handling characteristics.
On the features front, a sophisticated TFT console with smartphone connectivity takes centre stage, complemented by multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, launch control, and advanced traction management. The bike's technological prowess is further enhanced by an intelligent engine brake control system.
This latest pricing strategy repositions the Ninja ZX-10R as an even more compelling option for serious motorcycle enthusiasts. It makes the Japanese litre-class sportbike quite a lot more bang for buck against European offerings like the BMW S 1000 RR, Ducati Panigale V4, and the Aprilia RSV4.
