Lexus says the bookings have been halted due to supply chain issues and pending orders.
Lexus India has announced that it has temporarily halted the bookings of the LM 350h, just weeks after it began delivering the luxury MPV in India. At the moment, there is no confirmation on when Lexus will resume bookings for the LM 350h, which is priced at ₹2 crore (ex-showroom, India).
According to Lexus, the bookings for the LM 350h have been halted because of ongoing supply chain issues. Furthermore, it has also been done to cater to the pending orders before Lexus India takes more orders. In a statement issued to the media, the brand said, “Lexus India is humbled by the overwhelming response received from our guests for the Lexus LM 350h, and we sincerely thank all our guests for their strong support.”
The LM 350h made its debut in India at the Auto Expo 2023 and was launched in India in March 2024. It is available in two seating configurations – a 7 seater and a 4 seater. The former is priced at ₹2 crore, while the latter is priced at ₹2.5 crore. The LM 350h is Luxus’ iteration of the new Toyota Vellfire, which is priced between ₹1.22 - 1.33 crore (ex-showroom, India).
Lexus’ only MPV is powered by a strong-hybrid powertrain with a 2.5-litre petrol engine and two electric motors with a combined power output of 247 bhp. The petrol engine produces 190 bhp and 242 Nm, while the front e-motor produces 180 bhp and the rear e-motor produces 54 bhp. The power is sent to all four wheels via a CVT (automatic transmission).
The LM 350h is a feature-loaded vehicle with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as a 48-inch ultrawide screen for the rear passengers. It also has a 23-speaker audio system tuned by Mark Levinson, heated and ventilated seats, fold-out tables, seat ottomans for the rear passengers, and more. Safety features include multiple airbags, electronic stability control, three-point seatbelts for all seats and ADAS.
