Mahindra is revamping its XUV300, rebranding it as the XUV 3XO, set to hit the market on April 29. A new teaser offers glimpses of its upgraded features, such as an electric sunroof and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system likely borrowed from the XUV400 EV. The 3XO marks a significant overhaul for the XUV300, which has remained largely unchanged since its 2018 debut.

Visually, the teaser reveals a connected tail-light setup, new LED headlights with daytime running lights, and fresh alloy designs. Expect a range of colour options, with the teaser showcasing a striking yellow paint job. Ventilated seats are hinted at, along with a dual-tone interior similar to the XUV400 Pro, featuring a digital instrument cluster with potential additions like a wireless charger, dual-zone climate controls, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.

Powertrain-wise, ex expect the continuation of current engines: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol generating 108 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol GDi producing 128 bhp and 230 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel delivering 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT.
