Mahindra XUV 3XO Deliveries Begin

Mahindra launched the XUV 3XO in India on April 29, 2024, and deliveries of the subcompact SUV began on May 26, 2024. Prices for the XUV 3XO start at ₹7.49 lakh and go up to 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Bookings for the XUV 3XO opened on May 15, 2024, and within an hour, it received more than 50,000 orders for the subcompact SUV. Interested customers can book the Mahindra XUV 3XO by paying a token amount of ₹21,000. 

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is an extensive facelift for the XUV300 and gets major exterior and interior design changes. Up front, it gets a thick black panel between the headlamps, C-shaped LED DRLs, LED fog lamps and a new bumper. At the back, it has C-shaped LED tail lamps connected by an LED light bar and a thick bumper. The XUV 3XO also gets new 17-inch alloy wheels but the profile remains largely unchanged. 

Inside, the Mahindra XUV 3XO gets a revised dashboard with a large, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, remote climate control, three drive modes, connected car tech, a 7-speaker system from Harman Kardon and more. For safety, it gets six airbags, four disc brakes, ISOFIX, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera and level 2 ADAS, among others. 

The XUV 3XO is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol engine is available in two states of tune – 109 bhp with 200 Nm and 129 bhp with 230 Nm. The turbo-petrol engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The diesel engine produces 115 bhp and 300 Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT. 

In terms of competition, the Mahindra XUV 3XO rivals the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
