Effective July 9, 2024, all new Maruti Suzuki vehicles will come with an upgraded standard warranty.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), has announced a significant enhancement to its vehicle warranty programs, reinforcing its dedication to customer satisfaction and long-term value. Effective July 9, 2024, all new Maruti Suzuki vehicles will come with an upgraded standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km, a notable increase from the previous coverage of 2 years or 40,000 km.
This aims to provide Maruti Suzuki customers with extended peace of mind by covering crucial vehicle components such as the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical systems, and air conditioning systems, excluding consumables. The enhanced warranty ensures that customers can access free repairs at any authorised Maruti Suzuki service centre nationwide throughout the warranty period.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales at MSIL, expressed the company's commitment, stating, "At Maruti Suzuki, we strive to have customers for life. In line with this commitment, we have enhanced our standard warranty coverage to 3 years or 100,000 km to provide greater value to our customers."
In addition to the enhanced standard warranty, Maruti Suzuki has introduced three new extended warranty packages, providing customers with flexible options to further protect their vehicles:
Platinum Package: Extends warranty up to the 4th year or 120,000 km
Royal Platinum Package: Extends warranty up to the 5th year or 140,000 km
Solitaire Package: Extends warranty up to the 6th year or 160,000 km
The expansion of the warranty programs aligns with Maruti Suzuki's ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. By offering robust warranty options, the company reaffirms its dedication to providing high-quality, reliable vehicles that meet the evolving needs of its customers.
