This will be the third EV from MG in India.
MG Motor India is all set to introduce its third electric vehicle (EV) in the country, the Cloud EV, somewhere during the second week of September. The Cloud EV has been spotted testing multiple times, and its patent images have also surfaced recently.
Sporting a crossover design, the Cloud EV measures 4.3 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.7 meters. Some of the design highlights on the exterior include a large front fascia, which is flanked by a sleek connecting LED light package. Flush door handles and a smooth roofline that flows towards the front give it a very aerodynamically sharp profile.

One of the highlights of the Cloud EV is expected to be its extensive feature list, comprising elements such as 360-degree cameras, dual digital screens, climate control, connected car technology, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), powered seats, and a sunroof. The Cloud EV is anticipated to be offered multiple range options, including a 50.6kWh powertrain paired for a range of up to 460 kilometres.
Positioned as MG's most premium EV offering in India, the Cloud EV is expected to be priced between ₹25 lakh and ₹28 lakh, making it a direct competitor to the BYD e6.
