What’s Next for the Nissan GT-R?

Although the R35 has reached the end of its journey, Nissan confirmed the GT-R nameplate will live on. Speaking on the future, Ivan Espinosa, President and CEO of Nissan, said:

“The GT-R badge is not something that can be applied to just any vehicle; it is reserved for something truly special, and the R35 set the bar high. While we don’t have a precise plan finalised today, the GT-R will evolve and reemerge in the future.”

This statement strongly hints at a next-generation Nissan GT-R, possibly featuring electrification or hybrid technology, in line with modern performance trends.
