The latest teaser gives us a glimpse of the Ola electric bike
Apart from Ola Electric’s initial public offering (IPO) going live in August, the other big news from the largest electric two-wheeler brand in the country is the introduction of its electric motorcycles. Ola has released a teaser of its upcoming electric bike and from it we can make out that it will get a projector headlight. In fact, the Ola electric motorcycle will feature a twin projector headlight as seen on the Ola S1 series thereby maintaining a familiarity between both the products. But unlike a full LED DRL ring that we have seen on the Ola scooters, the electric motorcycle gets a single LED DRL line above the headlight.
The other detail visible in the teaser are the large tank shrouds that overlap the headlight. Going by the previous teaser, we can confirm that the first Ola electric bike will be a commuter bike.

The frame design is simple and the electric motorcycle will employ chain drive to ride the rear wheel unlike the belt drive system that we have seen on the Ola scooters. Further details of the Ola bike remains to be revealed but what we can confirm is that it will be offered in three variants to keep the pricing competitive.
The Ola electric motorcycles will be revealed on August 15 and could go into production by early 2025. The Bengaluru-based brand had plans to launch premium electric motorcycles but according to Bhavish Agarrwal, CEO of Ola, the focus has been mass market electric motorcycles as they are hugely popular in ICE form and the brand wants to replicate the same success in the electric motorcycle space. The upcoming Ola electric bikes could be priced between ₹1-1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
