Handset maker OnePlus is looking to introduce a compact flagship device, with company leadership actively seeking consumer inputs. Louis Lee, President of OnePlus China, has given way to excitement by directly engaging with social media followers about the purported OnePlus 13T, a smaller-screen flagship smartphone.
Lee's approach is different, as he recently used Weibo to get user feedback about small-screen smartphones. By asking followers about their desired usage scenarios and required optimisations, OnePlus is showing a commitment to consumer-driven products.
Some leaked renders have provided a preliminary glimpse of the OnePlus 13T's design. The images reveal a sleek device featuring a distinctive square-shaped dual-camera module with two vertically aligned cameras. A third sensor and LED flash are positioned to the right, creating a design reminiscent of the Oppo Reno 13.
Reports suggest that the OnePlus 13T would feature a 6.3-inch display, positioning it as a more compact alternative in the flagship smartphone segment. The device is expected to be officially unveiled next month.
A key feature of the OnePlus 13T is said to be its battery capacity. Despite its modest 6.3-inch screen size, the device is likely to incorporate a 6,200 mAh battery--a capacity that substantially exceeds its larger predecessor, the OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 13T will get 80W proprietary wired charging support.
