Porsche Taycan Facelift Priced In India At ₹1.89 Crore

Porsche India has revealed the prices for the Taycan facelift. The Taycan 4S is priced at ₹1.89 crore, while the Taycan Turbo is priced at ₹2.53 crore (both ex-showroom, India). However, bookings will open later this year. The facelifted Taycan made its global debut in February this year. 

The Porsche Taycan facelift gets subtle design changes, more features and an enhanced range from its updated powertrains. As standard, the Taycan 4S gets an 89 kWh battery which can be upgraded to a 105 kWh unit with an optional Performance Battery Plus Pack. And as standard, the Taycan Turbo comes with the larger battery pack. 

With the smaller battery pack, the Taycan 4S has a claimed range of up to 557 km, which can be increased to up to 642 km. The standard Taycan 4S produces 454 bhp and 695 Nm. With the Performance Battery Plus Pack, it produces 510 bhp and 710 Nm. 

The Taycan Turbo has a claimed range of 629 km on a full charge. Its dual electric motors produce 697 bhp and 890 Nm. The Turbo variant also gets a new ‘push-to-pass’ function that gives it a boost of 94 bhp for 10 seconds. 

Both variants of the Taycan support 320 kW DC fast charging and an 11 kW AC charger is offered as standard. Notably, Porsche hasn’t revealed the specifications of the India-spec model and these specifications are for the European-spec model. 

The Taycan facelift gets new HD Matrix LED headlamps which are now slimmer than before. It also gets redesigned bumpers, an illuminated Porsche logo at the back and a new design for the 21-inch alloy wheels. The refreshed Taycan also gets adaptive air suspension and Porsche claims the weight has been reduced by 15 kg. 

Inside, the Taycan still gets three screens but the user interface (UI has been redesigned. It has a 10.9-inch infotainment display, a 16.8-inch digital instrument cluster and an optional passenger’s display. Other features include Apple CarPlay integration for the infotainment system, a head-up display, a wireless charger, a 14-speaker Bose sound system and an ADAS suite.
