The third-gen Renault Duster is slated to make its India debut on 26 January 2026.
The anticipation around the launch of the third generation Renault Duster in India is quietly gathering momentum. Recently, the French carmaker dropped a teaser of the upcoming SUV on its social media handles. Prior to that, the new-gen Renault Duster has been spotted testing on several occasions over the past year or so.
As the launch draws closer, the new Renault Duster continues to be spied in what appears to be the final rounds of testing before the vehicle hits production. Another set of spy shots of the upcoming Duster has gone viral on the internet. The latest images reveal new details unique to the India-spec Renault Duster.
The latest spy images reveal a pair of sleek LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). Although the front grille is under wraps, a camera module near the centre is visible, suggesting the inclusion of a 360-degree camera feature. Positioned below the grille, the front bumper features a three-slatted air intake, a wide lower air dam, and fog lamps on both sides.

On closely monitoring the front windshield, a radar sensor for ADAS is visible, which will make the new Duster the first Renault vehicle to offer ADAS. Moving to the side profile, we notice the rear door handles integrated with the C-pillar. Previous spy images have revealed the use of vertically positioned LED taillamps in place of the signature V-shaped units found on the global model. Although, it is very hard to deduce the setup for the latest test mule caught on camera.
Another subtle variation is the notched roof-mounted spoiler, which appears slightly different from the one offered internationally. We also expect the India-spec Duster to flaunt a connected LED taillamp cluster, something we don’t see in the model on sale in Europe. Other exterior elements such as prominent wheel-arch cladding, a shark-fin antenna, roof rails, a rear washer and wiper, and a sharply raked windshield seem to be carried over from the international-spec model.

While the Renault Duster’s interior has not yet been revealed, it is expected to adopt a modern yet utilitarian layout, similar to the international model. The upcoming Duster is likely to be equipped with a comprehensive suite of contemporary features, including a 10-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a premium six-speaker audio system.

In international markets, the third-generation Renault Duster is available with multiple powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 128.2 hp, and a 1.6-litre strong-hybrid petrol setup that combines two electric motors with a 1.2 kWh battery for a total output of 138 hp. The range also features a 1.0-litre petrol-LPG engine delivering 98.6 hp, offered with a six-speed transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Powertrain details for the India-spec model, however, are yet to be disclosed.
