Samsung is set to launch its latest Galaxy Book 5 laptop lineup in India, with pre-reservations open for prospective buyers now. The new series comprises three models: Galaxy Book 5 Pro, Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 5 360.
Buyers can pre-reserve at no cost through Samsung's official website, authorised retail stores, and Samsung India Smart Cafés. The pre-reservation period extends until March 10, with an added incentive of a Rs 5,000 voucher for early adopters.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will be powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, featuring an NPU that delivers up to 47 TOPS of AI performance. These devices will support Microsoft's Copilot+ PC features, including innovative functionalities like Recall and Photo Remaster.
Samsung has housed the series with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays that offer exceptional visual performance. The displays provide up to 3K resolution with 2,880x1,800 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 120 percent DCI:P3 color gamut coverage. The screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with DX and feature an anti-reflective surface for optimal viewing quality.
The laptops will include S Pen support, enabling creators and students to draw and take notes with enhanced precision. An additional feature, Circle to Search, provides intuitive visual lookup capabilities that expand the device's functionality for professional and creative users.
Battery And Connectivity
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will get impressive battery performance and connectivity options. Users can expect up to 25 hours of video playback and the ability to charge 35 percent of the battery in approximately 30 minutes.
The laptop will come with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and offers seamless integration with other Galaxy devices.
Samsung has also equipped the laptop with a robust selection of ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm combo jack, and a MicroSD card reader. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the 3.8cm woofers with Dolby Atmos, promising an immersive sound experience.
