Stark Future claims the new Varg EX offers 20 per cent more range than the Varg MX.
In a bold move that promises to redefine off-road motorcycling, Stark Future has launched its latest creation - the Varg EX. Building on the success of its previous motocross model, the new Varg EX is an electric enduro motorcycle that tries to challenge conventional design and performance expectations.
The new bike’s drivetrain produces 80 horses and a whopping 1036 Nm of peak torque at the rear wheel. There are five ride modes to get the full spectrum of this performance. Its 7.2 kWh battery, which is made out of magnesium in a unique honeycomb design, provides extended range and also contributes to its structural integrity, acting as a stress member.
Stark Future says it has prioritised both form and function with the Varg EX's design. High-strength steel forms the primary frame, complemented by a lightweight carbon-fibre subframe that has been designed to cool the motors and battery. Advanced suspension from KYB is said to ensure that the ride is engaging and manageable across diverse terrain.

On the features front, Stark’s Arkenstone digital navigation and control system is built on a “military-grade Android platform”. It offers GPS navigation, performance customisation, and trail-sharing capabilities.
Environmental consciousness was also a concern for the company when designing the Varg EX. By eliminating traditional mechanical components, the electric drivetrain dramatically reduces maintenance requirements including oil changes.
The Varg EX will be available in two performance configurations – a 60-horsepower standard and an 80-horsepower alpha version. Both have been launched in the UK and the USA, and if you’re wondering whether this bike will launch in India, sadly, there’s only a very slim chance at the moment.
