Prices of all bikes have also increased in the process.
Suzuki has updated its 150 cc and 250 cc bikes for 2025. This includes the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX, the Gixxer SF 250, Gixxer 250, Gixxer, and Gixxer SF. Besides being compliant with the latest OBD2B emission norms, all bike prices have also increased. To distinguish these models, the brand has also introduced new colour options.
Bikes | New Ex-Showroom Price (Delhi) | Old Ex-Showroom Price (Delhi) |
Suzuki V-Strom SX1 | ₹2.16 lakh | ₹2.11 lakh |
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 | ₹2.07 lakh | ₹1.92-₹2.05 lakh |
Suzuki Gixxer 250 | ₹1.98 lakh | ₹1.81-₹1.98 lakh |
Suzuki Gixxer SF | ₹1.47 lakh | ₹1.37-₹1.45 lakh |
Suzuki Gixxer | ₹1.37 lakh | ₹1.34-₹1.37 lakh |
While the adventure bike gets more expensive by ₹5,000, the fully-faired sport bike sees a price hike of ₹2,000 in both its 250 cc and 150 cc avatars. The naked sport bikes on the other hand do not see much change, with the asking price of the Ride Connect variant now being the new ex-showroom price of the base variant.
Besides getting more expensive, Suzuki has also introduced new colour options to distinguish these bikes from before. The V-Strom SX gains Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Gixxer 250 have gained Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Black No.2/ Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White. Their 150 cc siblings have gained Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Oort Gray/ Metallic Lush Green.
Mechanically, the engine tune has remained the same, despite the new emission norms being met. Similarly, the hardware components and the body design have also been left untouched for the new year. 2024 was quite a successful year for Suzuki, and the brand managed to cross the 1 lakh cumulative sales milestone in the country for the first time with this bunch of motorcycles. How far the brand goes in 2025 with these updates, now will be observed for the next 12 months.
