Tata Power has announced that it has sold and installed 62,000 home EV chargers. The brand added 11,529 home EV chargers in the second quarter of financial year 2024. This aligns with Tata Motors’ recent achievement of selling more than 50,000 electric vehicles in India since it launched the Nexon EV in 2020.
In the same quarter, Tata Power also deployed 180 electric bus charging points, now having more than 450 e-bus charging points in the country. Furthermore, Tata Power now also has more than 700 EV fleet charging points.
Commenting on the feat, Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV Charging), Tata Power, said, “We are resolute in delivering a seamless, accessible and user-friendly charging infrastructure to meet the charging requirements of EV owners at the convenience of their homes.”
