The massive sales hike was courtesy surging domestic market demand and a huge boost in EV sales.
The second half of 2026 started on a triumphant note for TVS Motor Company as the company recorded its best ever monthly sales. The Hosur-based two-wheeler giant sold 6,29,675 units in July 2026, which is a massive 28 per cent in comparison to the 4,56,350 units sold in July 2025. The massive spike in sales is driven by strong domestic demand, rising exports and a sharp increase in electric vehicle (EV) sales.
Domestic demand remained the biggest growth driver, with 4,37,394 two-wheelers sold in India during the month. This marks a 42 per cent increase over the 3,08,720 units sold in July 2025, underlining healthy demand across the company's motorcycle and scooter portfolio. The TVS Apache series continues to drive sales in the motorcycle business and the Jupiter range remains the second-highest selling scooter range behind the Honda Activa family.

TVS sold 60,934 electric two-wheelers in July 2026, its highest-ever monthly EV sales. Compared to 23,605 units sold in July last year, EV volumes surged by 158 per cent, highlighting the growing popularity of the TVS iQube and the company's expanding electric vehicle business. TVS Motor's international business also reached a new monthly record.
The company exported 1,65,744 units, up 27 per cent from 1,30,070 units during the same period last year, reflecting sustained demand across global markets.
