The monkey bike gets even more funky.
Honda has unveiled the 2024 Grom for the Japanese market. This cute little two-wheeler has now received a facelift that promises to make it sportier to look at.
The sportier stance of the Grom is enhanced by sharper looking headlight cowl, shroud, and side cover. The tail section continues to be minimal as before. For 2024, the Honda Grom is available in two colour options - Pearl Horizon White and Matte Gunpowder Black.

Mechanically, the Honda Grom is powered by the same 124 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 10 bhp and 11.1 Nm, and it is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine forms the stress member of the mono-backbone frame which is suspended by USD fork and monoshock. The bike rides on alloy wheels shod with thick 120-section front and 130-section rear tyres.
Sadly, the bike remains non-existent in the Indian scheme of things. Honda would have had to re-engineer a lot of bits to make it cost-effective for India or else it would be a pricey product. But it would be great to have a monkey bike once again in the country.
