It arrives in three trims with Ola now finally offering a physical key for the e-scooter.
Further expanding its portfolio, Ola today launched its updated S1X range of electric scooters. Starting from ₹69,999 onwards, the newly launched Ola S1X is available in three variants with varied battery packs – 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh. The mid-level Ola S1 X is priced at ₹84,999, while the top-spec Ola S1X will set you back by ₹99,999. All prices, ex-showroom Bengaluru, after subsidies.
Performance-wise, the Ola S1X 3 kWh and 4 kWh variants can reach 90 kmph of top speed, while the 2 kWh variant is restricted to 85 kmph. All three trims can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Accordingly, the IDC range figure for the three trims stands at 95 km, 143 km and 190 km.
Visually, the newly launched S1X does not differ much from the S1X+ range. The body panels have the same multi-tone colour combination as seen in the Ola S1X+ scooters. Similarly, the 34-litre spacious under seat storage space has been carried over here as well.
Additionally, Ola has also introduced seven new exciting colour options namely – Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver. Also, the Ola S1X debuts a physical key, making it far more convenient overall.
Feature-wise, the Ola S1X will be available with a 4.3-inch fully digital LCD instrument cluster. It will also be available with features like cruise control, reverse mode, and Ola Electric app connectivity to name some of the few notables. Ola is also offering a 8 years/80,000 km battery warranty for the S1X.
Bookings for the newly launched Ola S1X have already commenced, and deliveries for the same are expected to start from next week onwards.
