Updated Suzuki Access 125 Test Mule Spotted

Suzuki seems to be readying its 125 cc family scooter –  the Access 125 – for 2024 as the scooter was spotted on test. The Access has been unchanged for nearly 6-7 years, with only colour and feature updates received in the timeframe.

The recent spy shots showcase a significantly redesigned scooter. For starters, the headlight cowl looks a little beefier while the apron design now protrudes slightly forward. Further adding to its practicality, are the inclusion of new front storage areas. Along with that the rear mudguard and the exhaust heat shield design of the scooter have also been updated. 

Mechanically, the upcoming updated Suzuki Access 125 is expected to remain the same. Thereby, the 124 cc, single-cylinder that dishes out 8.6 bhp and 10 Nm will continue unchanged. Interestingly, the rear panels in the spied images appear smaller than before, which in turn reveals the engine a bit more than before. Along with that, the seat now also feels flatter and can be larger than before. 

Suzuki might update the instrument console as well, however, nothing substantial could be noticed in the spy photos whatsoever. The ex-showroom price of the Suzuki Access 125 currently starts from ₹82,261 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and given the updates it is set to receive, a marginal price hike shouldn’t come as a surprise.
