  1. Khajuraho Dance Festival: This is a week-long festival dedicated to dance. Dancers specializing in traditional dance forms gather from all around the country to perform in the Khajuraho dance festival. This dance festival is usually held in February.
     
  2. Tansen Music Festival: As the name suggests, this festival is dedicated to singing. Singers, new and old, get a chance to showcase their talent during this festival. The four-day Tansen Music Festival is celebrated in December in Gwalior.
     
  3. Ujjain Kumbh Mela: The Kumbh Mela is one of the holiest festivals celebrated in India. It is celebrated once in twelve years in four Indian cities, Ujjain is one of them. People take a dip in Ujjain’s holy river, Shipra to wash their sins. This festival is usually held in April and May.
     
  4. Pachmarhi Utsav: Pachmarhi is a popular tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh. This festival is held in Pachmarhi and lasts for six days and focuses on folk art and culture. National and international performers gather during this festival for cultural evenings. Local handicrafts are also displayed during the Pachmarhi Utsav.
     
  5. Bhagoria Haat Festival: This festival is celebrated by the Bhils and Bhilalas of Madhya Pradesh. It can be viewed as a match-making festival for boys and girls. Usually, this festival is celebrated during March before Holi celebrations and presided over by a respected elder from the village.
