In Japan, the WR-V gets the same 1.5-litre petrol engine as the Elevate in India. However, it misses out on the 6-speed manual gearbox and is only available with the CVT automatic. The WR-V has a slightly detuned engine as it produces 117 bhp and 142 Nm, while the Elevate produces 119 bhp and 145 Nm.
