Hyundai Exter Micro SUV Safety Features Revealed Ahead Of Launch

After the Hyundai Verna, Hyundai Motor India is preparing for the launch of the Hyundai Exter micro SUV in the market. Ahead of its official debut, the company has revealed the list of safety features on offer with the new Hyundai Exter. To be launched in the entry-level micro-SUV segment, rivaling the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and the Tata Punch segment, the upcoming Hyundai Exter claims to feature 26+ safety features on the top-spec variants of the car and as an option on the base versions.

Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “We are delighted to announce that Hyundai Exter is India’s first sub 4-metre SUV that is equipped with 6 airbags as standard. Also, with over 40 advanced safety features, the Hyundai Exter bolsters the resilient confidence commanded by our SUV line-up and redefines a new benchmark for customers in India.”

As part of the safety features suite, the Hyundai Exter will come equipped with six airbags as standard, along with ESC, VSM, and HAC, as well as a three-point seat belt for all passengers, seatbelt reminder, keyless entry, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ESS, burglar alarm, and much more.

The Hyundai Exter will also come with auto headlamps, ISOFIX child anchorages, a rear defogger, a dashcam with a dual camera similar to the 2022 Hyundai Venue, and TPMS. All these safety features will come standard on the top-spec versions and as optional fitments in the base versions.
