The Sonet facelift averaged roughly 10,000 units sales every month.
Kia India introduced the facelifted Sonet in India in December 2023 and it was launched in India in January 2024. Since then, Kia India has sold more than 1 lakh units of the subcompact SUV in India, taking just 11 months to reach this milestone.
The Sonet averaged roughly 10,000 unit sales every month. Kia India said 76 per cent of the total sales were for the petrol variants while the diesel comprised 24 per cent of the total sales. Furthermore, 34 per cent of the total sales were for automatic and iMT variants and sunroof-equipped variants comprised 79 per cent of the total sales.

These features have significantly enhanced the value proposition of the New Sonet, contributing to strong sales performance. The Sonet is priced between ₹7.99 - 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It comes with a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to either a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 6-speed AT and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The Sonet also gets a plethora of features such as ADAS, two 10.25-inch screens, a single-pane sunroof, an air purifier, a 360-degree camera and more.
