Raptee.HV Receives 8,000 Bookings, Delivery Timeline Revealed

Chennai-based Raptee.HV announced today that it has received ARAI certification for CCS2 DC Fast charging for the T30 electric motorcycle. The above makes the Raptee.HV T30, is the only electric motorcycle in India to be compatible with CCS2 DC charging which is normally reserved for cars. It also gives the upcoming electric bike to the over 22,000 DC fast charging stations present across our country. The company also announced that it has received over 8,000 bookings for the T30 and deliveries will commence in Q1 of 2025-26. The deliveries have been delayed as Raptee.HV had previously claimed to start deliveries in January 2025 in Chennai and Bengaluru.

Speaking about the above announcement, Dinesh Arjun, CEO & Co-Founder, Raptee.HV commented, “We are setting a precedent here, and we believe the entire motorcycle ecosystem will inevitably transition to High Voltage, much like the electric car industry due to its innate advantages. Certification of an entirely new architecture means developing not just the subcomponents but also the performance, safety, and validation standards, co-creating the supplier ecosystem, and then actively working with the regulatory body to get the new standards through. While it has taken us around 6 years to build the HV architecture for our first motorcycle, our platforms are now in place to support the launch of a new motorcycle every 12 months hereon.”

The T30, according to Raptee.HV offers the performance of a 300-cc ICE motorcycle, and it’s priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric bike features a 22 kW peak power motor and a 5.4 kWh battery pack. Talking about performance, the T30 can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 3.5 seconds and manage a top speed of 135 kmph. 

The electric bike can deliver an IDC range of 200 km and a real-world range of around 150 km (all the above numbers are claimed figures). With a standard charger, the Raptee.HV T30 can be charged from 20-80 per cent in an hour and the same is achieved in 36 minutes using a fast charger. The company offers 8-year, or 80,000 km, warranty for its battery pack and 3 years or 30,000 km for the vehicle
