Royal Enfield recently launched the Guerrilla 450 Apex, a sportier, more fun and accessible version of the regular Guerrilla, priced at ₹2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield finished FY26 with its strongest annual performance yet, crossing 1.2 million units for the first time. In the month of March 2026 alone, the company sold 1,12,334 motorcycles, up from 1,01,021 units in March 2025, which translated to a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 11 percent.
For FY2026, total sales for Royal Enfield stood at 12,38,659 units, marking a 23 percent increase over FY25. Domestic sales rose to 11,07,343 units, while exports reached 1,31,316 units.
The March figure was not just ahead of last year; it was also comfortably above February 2026. An official filing for February showed Royal Enfield sales at 1,00,905 units. That means March volume rose by 11,429 units month-on-month, or 11.3 percent, which suggests the company entered the new financial year with solid momentum rather than a soft finish.

The domestic market continued to do the heavy lifting in March. Royal Enfield sold 1,00,406 motorcycles in India, compared with 88,050 units in March 2025, a 14 percent year-on-year increase. Exports, however, were slightly softer at 11,928 units versus 12,971 units a year earlier, down 8 percent. Even so, the overall mix still points to broad-based demand, supported by the brand’s core 350cc portfolio as well as its larger-capacity motorcycles.

Royal Enfield’s models with engine capacity up to 350cc remained the volume engine for the brand. Sales in this category rose 12 percent year-on-year to 97,933 units in March 2026. Bikes above 350cc also contributed to the growth story, with sales increasing 5 percent to 14,401 units. That combination helped the company close the year on a high note, while also reinforcing the appeal of its expanding range across different buyer groups.

Beyond the monthly numbers, the bigger picture is equally notable. Royal Enfield reported its second consecutive year above the one-million mark and its highest-ever annual sales. The company also said it is investing in future growth through capacity expansion at Cheyyar and a wider product push, including the Flying Flea C6 expected to launch.
