Tecno Camon 30 and Camon 30 Premier Launched in India

Tecno has launched its new camera-focused Camon 30 series in India. It includes the Camon 30 and Camon 30 Premier, which share some key features, including IP53 dust and water resistance rating, NFC support, IR blaster, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging.

Some Camon 30 Premier features include a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip and has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

The Camon 30 5G gets its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC and features a dual rear camera module with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Both phones run on Android 14 out of the box with Tecno's HiOS interface on top. The company has also promised three years of Android and security updates.

The Camon 30 starts at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 12GB/512GB model. The Camon 30 Premier 5G is priced at Rs 39,999 for the sole 12GB/512GB variant. Pre-bookings for the Camon 30 series have started on Amazon and the first sale is scheduled for May 23.
