Top 10 Motorcycles For January 2024

The Indian two-wheeler market roared into 2024, with established players like Hero and Honda dominating the sales charts in January. Here's a look at the top 10 best-selling motorcycles and scooters in the country last month:

As always, Hero takes the top spot with the Splendor, with 2,55,122 units sold in Jan 2024. This is 27,374 units more than the month before. Another Hero takes 4th place, which is the HF Deluxe with 78,767 units this month. This tops the Passion by 48,725 units, which has sold 30,042 units in Jan 2024. The sales for Passion have gone down by 3,509 units, but that is marginal compared to the units they sell every month.

Honda Shine has secured 2nd place by selling 1,45,252 units, marking an increase of 60,108 units compared to last month. Additionally, the Shine 100 has shown significant growth, reaching 22,000 units from a mere 7,000 units last month. Overall, the Shine product line has performed exceptionally well this month.

Bajaj is a bit of an exception where it is selling more of the Pulsar brand, which is a sporty commuter. The numbers that we see are of the combined Pulsar lineup, which is why it surpasses the Bajaj Platina, coming in at 6th place. The overall Pulsar lineup sold 128,883 units in Jan, which is 22,149 units more than last month.

Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 remains the only bike in this list which is more than 300cc. The current J-series bike continues to sell handsomely and the company’s diversification of the platform hasn’t really affected its breadwinner’s sales.
