The new GX+ trim sits between the GX and VX trims and gets features like a reverse camera and more.
Not long after introducing the GX (O) variant of the Innova Hycross, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has now launched a new variant of the extremely popular Innova Crysta. The new GX+ variant sits between the GX and VX trims and its prices start at ₹21.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in both 7- & 8-seater configurations.

Compared to the GX trims, the GX+ 7-seater is ₹1.40 lakh more expensive than the GX 7-seater. Similarly, the GX+ 8-seater is ₹1.45 lakh dearer than the GX 8-seater variant.

The Innova Crysta GX+ gets features like a reverse camera, auto-folding ORVMs and a digital video recorder. It also gets an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, fabric seats and more. Safety features include three airbags (driver, passenger and driver’s knee), vehicle stability control and hill-start assist, among others.
The Innova Crysta GX+ is available in five colour options – Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Silver Metallic. It also gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Innova Crysta GX+ gets the same 2.4-litre diesel engine producing 148 bhp and 343 Nm. It is solely mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
With the new variants, the Innova Crysta now has a total of nine variants for private customers and six variants for commercial customers such as fleet and taxi operators. Prices for the Innova Crysta range between ₹19.99 - 26.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Toyota also mentioned that it has sold close to 10.5 lakh units of the Innova since it was introduced in 2005. This includes models like the Innova, Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross.
