A new, more affordable variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was launched during April 2026.
Royal Enfield has reported strong sales figures for April 2026, with 1,04,129 motorcycles sold domestically and 9,035 exports for a total of 1,13,164 units. This represents a 31 percent year-on-year increase compared to the total of 86,559 units sold in April 2025. The company credits this to compelling new launches, positive response to industry awards, and a growing community of riders and brand enthusiasts.
In a statement, Eicher Motors Ltd MD and Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan said “We have started the new financial year with strong momentum, setting the tone for an exciting and important year ahead. April 2026 was special for us as we took our first step into electric mobility with the launch of the Flying Flea C6 — which has received an overwhelmingly encouraging response. During the month our growing global brand strength was further affirmed as Royal Enfield was recognised as the world’s third-strongest automobile brand by Brand Finance. Internationally our key markets continue to perform well, driven by successful new launches, industry accolades and a growing rider community. With a robust pipeline of new products and brand initiatives, we are confident of maintaining the growth trajectory through the year.”
During the month, Royal Enfield launched a new Base Premium variant of the city-focused 2026 Hunter 350 in Tarmac Black, widening its appeal to less urban markets. It also introduced new colour options for the Top variant: Mumbai Yellow and Moonshot White. The 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 was also launched in late March, with new sporty upgrades and a new entry-level variant.
The other big news for the iconic Indian motorcycle brand in April was the long-awaited launch of its first-ever electric model, the Flying Flea C6. Currently only available at the company’s official Bengaluru store, it can be purchased outright or with a Battery-as-a-Service plan.
Royal Enfield’s sales had risen 11 percent YoY in March 2026, ending FY 2025-26 with a record 12.4 lakh total units sold. The 10 lakh units mark was surpassed within the first ten months of the financial year, and this was the company’s second consecutive year achieving this target.
