Many manufacturers are offering big discounts this festive season.
The festive season is upon us, and many manufacturers are offering big discounts during this period. Many newly launched cars are also getting big discounts, such as the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Hyundai i20 facelift. We have gathered all the discounts and various benefits provided by manufacturers, so look at this list before you purchase your next vehicle during the festive season.
Citroën has announced a Care Festival where it is offering benefits of up to Rs. 99,000 on the C3 hatchback. It also comes with a finance scheme where buyers can start paying the EMIs in 2024 but this is only applicable for cars delivered before October 31.
Other benefits in the Care Festival include a 15 per cent discount on car care products and a 10 per cent discount on select accessories and labour charges. However, there are no discounts on the eC3, C3 Aircross, or C5 Aircross.
Honda Car India is offering benefits of up to Rs. 75,000 on the City and Amaze sedans. The former get discounts of up to Rs 75,000 that include cash discount of up to Rs. 25,000, a loyalty bonus of Rs. 4,000, a corporate discount of Rs. 5,000, a special corporate discount of Rs. 25,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 6,000 for Honda cars and an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 for cars from other brands.
Similarly, the Amaze gets a total discount of Rs. 57,000 that includes cash benefits of Rs. 15,000, a loyalty bonus of Rs. 4,000, a corporate discount of Rs. 3,000 with a special corporate discount of Rs. 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. There are no discounts on the newly launched Honda Elevate as of now.
Hyundai India is offering big discounts on almost all of its models. While the pre-facelift i20 and i20 N Line get benefits of up to Rs. 50,000, the facelifted i20 gets benefits of up to Rs. 10,000. Following that is the Grand i10 Nios with benefits of up to Rs. 43,000 and Aura with benefits of up to Rs. 33,000.
These include cash discounts as well as exchange and corporate discounts. The Hyundai Verna gets benefits of up to Rs. 25,000, the Alcazar gets benefits of up to Rs. 20,000 and the Kona Electric gets benefits of up to Rs. 2 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to Rs. 49,000 on the Alto K10, Swift and Wagon R that include Rs. 30,000 cash discounts, Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 4,000 corporate discounts. Furthermore, S Presso and Celerio get benefits of up to Rs. 54,000 and Rs. 59,000, respectively which includes Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 35,000 cash discounts, Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000.
The Dzire only gets an exchange bonus and corporate discount of Rs. 10,000. There are no discounts on the Brezza or the Ertiga.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis gets a total discount of up to Rs. 64,000 that includes Rs. 35,000 as a cash discount, Rs. 4,000 as a corporate discount, Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus and an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000 on select vehicles. Similarly, the Baleno gets a total discount of Rs. 40,000 which includes Rs. 20,000 cash bonuses, Rs. 10,000 exchange bonuses and Rs. 10,000 additional exchange bonuses on certain vehicles.
The Baleno CNG only gets a Rs. 10,000 cash discount and Rs. 25,000 exchange bonuses. Maruti Suzuki is giving benefits of up to Rs. 38,000 which include Rs. 10,000 cash discounts, Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus and a corporate discount of Rs. 3,000. Interestingly, the newly launched Jimny already has benefits of up to Rs. 1 lakh which includes a cash discount of up to Rs. 50,000 and an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 50,000. However, there are no discounts on the Fronx, XL6, Grand Vitara and Invicto.
Renault India is offering benefits of up to Rs. 65,000 on its cars – Kiger, Kwid and Triber. Only the Kiger gets the highest discount of up to Rs. 65,000 which includes up to Rs. 25,000 cash benefits, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 on select variants and up to Rs. 20,000 loyalty bonuses.
The Kwid and Triber get discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 that include cash benefits of up to Rs. 20,000, exchange bonus of up to Rs. 20,000 on select variants and loyalty bonus of up to Rs. 10,000. All three cars also get additional exchange benefits worth Rs. 10,000 under Renault India’s R.E.L.I.V.E scrappage scheme.
Skoda India is offering benefits of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh on its cars. This discount is applicable on the Slavia and Kushaq and includes cash discounts of up to Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 on the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI models, respectively. Both also get 4-year/ 60,000 km service maintenance on certain models.
The Skoda Kodiaq, on the other hand, get benefits of up to Rs. 65,000 which includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 25,000 as well as the 4-year service maintenance pack.
This year, Tata Motors is offering a discount of Rs. 50,000 on its popular products, such as the Tiago, Tigor, pre-facelift Harrier as well as the Safari, which has benefits of up to Rs. 1.25 lakh.
Toyota is celebrating Diwali with special offers on its vehicles, with the Glanza and Urban Cruiser models enjoying discounts throughout October and November. Apart from the cash discount of up to Rs. 15,000, Toyota is also offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 5,000 extra on your old vehicle, along with a corporate discount of up to Rs. 2,000 for corporate employees. However, these deals add up to a total benefit of up to Rs. 22,000 for the top-spec V MT variant of the Glanza.
But, if you're considering the base-spec G MT variant, the cash discount is reduced by Rs. 5,000, but the exchange bonus increases by the same amount. For other Glanza variants, you'll still enjoy the corporate discount, with an exchange bonus of Rs. 8,000, while cash discounts remain the same as those offered on the G MT. The Glanza range is priced from Rs. 7.49 lakh to Rs. 9.45 lakh.
On the other hand, the Toyota Urban Cruiser enjoys up to Rs. 15,000 in exchange benefits only. In other news, Toyota has discontinued its compact sedan, the Yaris, and is anticipated to introduce a rebadged version of the Maruti Ciaz, potentially named the Belta, in the near future.
Much like its sister company, Volkswagen India is also offering discounts of up to Rs. 1 lakh on the Virtus and Taigun on the GT Plus trims.
The Virtus Topline AT gets discounts of up to Rs. 80,000, while the Taigun Topline AT gets discounts of up to Rs. 1 lakh.
